The sterilizer pool is normally composed of two elements: an electrical panel and a cell installed on filtering circuit, which ensures a regular disinfection of the water. The pool water is salty initially (3 to 7 grams of salt per liter), with a rate about 10 times lower than that of the sea. The consumption of salt for this procedure is almost nothing, because the salt recombines once carried out its job of disinfection due to electrolysis. Some devices are designed with a reverse polarity, which makes it possible to prevent the buildup of calcium plaque on the cell. Normally, the control panel are integrated with one or more alarms that allow you to record the failure of water flow into the cell, or a salinity lower than the requirement from the construction company.
